Raleigh teen found with gun at school

RALEIGH, N.C.  –Police arrested a 17-year-old Raleigh high school student, after they found the student with a handgun on school property, WTVD reports.

According to WTVD, the gun was found after a theft investigation at the school, but authorities are unsure if the gun was loaded.

There was no threat of harm to anyone on campus, according to officials.

A school resource officer arrested the student. The officer is also a Raleigh police officer.
