Three suspects arrested after robbery reported in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three people were arrested after police said they robbed a man on the street at gunpoint Tuesday night in Greensboro.

The victim told officers he was walking south on Coliseum Boulevard near Ontario Street shortly before 11 p.m. when a man got out of a dark blue Cadillac and approached him.

The suspect allegedly robbed him, taking “miscellaneous items” and then got back into the car, which the victim said had two other people inside it.

The victim told police that the car left the scene headed north on Coliseum Boulevard.

Police said the car was found shortly later and the three occupants arrested.

Thomas Aaron Simmons II, Anthony Dewayne Tate, and David Rashad Williams were all charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen goods.
