NC man finds soldier’s lost military ring

CANTON, N.C. — A Canton man reportedly took it upon himself to find a military ring lost by a Fort Bragg soldier.
According to WLOS, Staff Sgt. Bret Newmyer lost a prized military ring while playing in the snow with his young son at the welcome center near the Tennessee line.
Danny Buckner, who works at the welcome center, decided to put his metal detector to work and eventually found the ring, WLOS reports.
