A Taco Bell anti-veggie ad was pulled today after the fast-food restaurant received a wave of complaints for its mockery of veggies.

A report posted today at NBC News says the “Center for Science in the Public Interest,” which is a health advocacy group, “urged people to tweet their complaints” which resulted in the Taco Bell commercial being pulled.

What was so wrong with the Taco Bell anti-veggie ad? Apparently the it annoyed health-conscious consumers and nutritionists because it shows Taco Bell 12-pack’s with a voice-over that says bringing a vegetable tray to a party is “like punting on fourth and one.” The commercial further says “people secretly hate guests who bring vegetables to parties.”
