Suspect sought in Greensboro robbery

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police say they are looking for a suspect who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Friday night in Greensboro.
Authorities say the incident happened at the Pop Shoppe at 1103 Summit Avenue shortly before 11 p.m.
Officials say a man demanded money after implying that he had a handgun. No injuries were reported.
Police say the suspect left the scene with an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes traveling southbound in a black sport utility vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s, with a goatee and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information can call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
