Photo: Cougar gets taste of snow at NC Zoo

ASHEBORO, N.C. — The North Carolina Zoo on Wednesday shared a photo of one of its cougars exploring its newly-snow-filled habitat. 

Keepers say they used a snow-making machine to fill the exhibit on Tuesday. 

“With temperatures not expected to get out of the 30s, zoo visitors can expect to see the snow in the exhibit for several days,” officials said.
