WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Two California men are traveling across the country in an old fire truck to encourage retailers to sell more American products.
Aaron Lorell and Tim Morris set out from Washington DC in early January.
They want big box retailers like Walmart and Target to put their American-made items in a special section so shoppers can find them more easily. They also want those retailers to offer more products made in America.
“The manufacturers producing these products would have to increase capacity and that means adding staff, adding employees,” Lorell said.
