Thousands without power after winter storm hits Piedmont

Thousands are without power Friday morning in multiple counties across the Piedmont Triad following last night’s winter storm.
Duke Energy reports there are more than 3,100 without power in Forsyth County, more than 2,900 without power in Guilford County, and more than 500 without power in Rockingham County.

There was no estimate as to when power would be restored.
