YADKIN CO., N.C. — 11 people face more than 100 charges following a year-long investigation into alleged cocaine and opiate trafficking in Yadkin County.
Yadkin County deputies made the arrests on Thursday as part of “Operation Community Impact”. Deputies searched several vehicles and a motel room after issuing warrants.
Among the items seized include 220 grams of crack cocaine, hundreds of prescription pills, 3 marijuana plants, 6 firearms, two vehicles and cash, according to deputies.
The arrest range in age from 27 to 59. One suspect is from Winston-Salem, the others are from Yadkin County.
More charges are pending, and some suspects are still at large.
