Traffic alert for Greensboro Coliseum area Saturday night
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Authorities have issued a traffic alert Saturday for the area surrounding the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.
Teen pop icon Justin Bieber will be performing to a sold-out crowd at the Coliseum Saturday night.
Parking lots will open at 3 p.m. for concertgoers, who are being asked to use the Lee Street parking lot on the northeast corner of Lee Street.
Doors to the Coliseum will open at 5:30 p.m.
In addition to the concert, the 11th annual Taekwondo Championships will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Coliseum’s Pavilion.
The GSA January Jump Start Swim Meet is also being held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Aquatic Center.
Police will be directing traffic at major intersections in the Coliseum’s vicinity.
Drivers are asked to use extra caution while traveling the area.
