Winston-Salem State beats Chowan on road

Winston-Salem State remained unbeaten in conference play with a 71-66 win against Chowan on Thursday night in Murfreesboro.

Guard Justin Glover led the way for the Rams with 16 points. Glover was coming off one of the best games of his career on Monday night as he helped the Rams beat No. 15 Bowie State.

Guard Marcus Wells also helps the Rams who scored his only two points of the night on a jumper with 23.5 seconds left to give the Rams a 71-66 lead.

Freshman WyKevin Bazemore had a successful homecoming by scoring 17 points and grabbing 14 rebounds with two assists, a block and a steal in 28 minutes.
