Authorities say two suspects approached William Kerns, a delivery driver for Papa John’s Pizza, shortly after 12 a.m. in the 900 block of East Cone Boulevard.
Kerns told police he was called to the location to deliver a pizza when the suspects pointed a gun at him, demanding money.
Kerns said he struggled with the suspects and they ran off without getting anything from him. Police said Kerns was slightly injured, but did not require medical treatment.
Complete descriptions of the suspects were not released.
