Ron Paul’s grandson accused of assaulting flight attendant

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former presidential candidate Ron Paul’s grandson is facing new charges in connection to his arrest at Charlotte-Douglas airport on Jan.5.

WSOC reported that William Hilton Paul, 19, of Bowling Green, Ky., is now accused of assaulting a US Airways flight attendant.

Paul was reportedly drunk when he landed. Officials said he was charged last weekend for disorderly conduct.

The airline denies serving him any alcohol on the flight from Kentucky to Charlotte.

Paul’s grandfather is former presidential candidate Ron Paul. His father is Sen. Rand Paul.
