Traffic alert for Coliseum area this weekend in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Officials are warning drivers of large crowds expected Friday and Saturday for multiple, simultaneous events at the Greensboro Coliseum.

On Friday, the Coliseum Complex is hosting the N.C. RV & Camping Show from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the North Davidson High School Swim Meet from 5 to 8 p.m., and the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam, which begins at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday also features the RV & Camping Show and Monster Jam events during the same hours in addition to the Polar Bear Invitational, which will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Police will be directing traffic at major intersections in the surrounding area.

Those attending events are asked to arrive early.
