Greensboro residents fight off burglars with rifle

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two Greensboro residents fought off burglars that tried to enter their Alton Street home on Friday night, according to Greensboro Police.

When the two burglars tried to enter their home with an assault rifle, Brandon and Laura Miller fought them off.

The suspects then fled the scene.

One suspect is described as a black male 6 foot tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.  The second suspect is a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a black sweat shirt.

The investigation is ongoing.
