ETTRICK, Va. – Police are investigating a double homicide in a quiet Virginia neighborhood after a UPS driver noticed something unusual.

Authorities were called to a home in the 5200 Block of River Road near Beverley Street Monday afternoon, according to WTVR.

Chesterfield police Capt. Kevin Smith said two adults who live in the home were found dead.

The UPS driver, who frequently delivered to that residence, noticed the inside main door was open. The glass storm door was completely shattered.

Police are not naming the victims, pending notification of family, some of which may be out of state.
