A whale watching trip off the coast of California turned into a memorable day for many.

A group of tourists on Capt. Dave’s Dolphin and Whale Safari in Dana Point, Calif., experienced an unusual event.

Dolphins could be stampeding through the water like “wild horses.”

Contrary to the idea that the dolphins were having a great time, it’s likely a noise or vibration underwater caused the stampede.
