Road reopens after man crashes into tree in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro road has reopened following an early morning accident in Greensboro.

Police said Brandon Williams, 26, was traveling on Lynhaven Drive early Sunday when he left the roadway to the right and struck a tree.

Williams suffered serious injury and was transported by EMS to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment.

 Lynhaven Drive between Glenhaven Drive and Mystic Drive was closed for a short period of time, however all travel lanes are now open. 

The Crash Reconstruction Team arrived on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
