Seeing-eye cat befriends blind dog, helps guide him around
A seeing-eye cat uses her paws to help a blind dog around the house and the garden after the two formed an unlikely friendship.
Yahoo! News reported that an 8-year-old Labrador mix named Terfel was likely to spend the rest of his life near his dog bed after being diagnosed with cataracts.
But the dog’s owner, Judy Godfrey-Brown, let a stray cat into the house and she said her pets became instant buddies.
Godfrey-Brown said that the cat seemed to understand Terfel’s blindness and wanted to help him.
“They’re fantastic friends; they really love each other,” said Anne Cragg, a friend of the owner, according to Yahoo! News.
