GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is accused of assaulting a store employee while robbing the Macy’s at the Friendly Shopping Center.
According to Crimestoppers, the strong-arm robbery happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
“The suspect assaulted a store employee when he was attempting to steal items from the store,” officials said in a release.
He was last seen leaving the store in a green, mid-size sedan.
Anyone with further information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (336) 373-1000. A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest or indictment of whoever is responsible.
