Suspects sought in Burlington sweepstakes business robbery

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police say they are looking for two suspects accused of robbing an internet sweepstakes business at gunpoint Sunday night in Burlington.

Officials say the suspects entered Glen Raven Business Center at 1788 W. Webb Ave. around 5:30 p.m. and demanded money.

Police say one of the suspects had a semiautomatic handgun and the other acted as a lookout.

The suspects reportedly left with an undisclosed amount of cash, walking toward West Davis Street. Police say it is believed that they escaped in a small blue vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

The gunman is described as black, around 5’8” and around 160 pounds. Police say he wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark shoes and a ski mask.

The second suspect is described as a light-skinned black man with a slight chin beard. He reportedly wore a gray ball cap with a dark blue bill and blue jeans. He may have a silver teeth.
