Greensboro Steak ‘N Shake robbed at gunpoint again

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Steak ‘N Shake on Lawndale Drive in Greensboro has been robbed at gunpoint for the second time in about two months.

According to police, officers responded around 3:15 a.m. Monday to 2647 Lawndale Drive.

Police say the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash after he entered the restaurant, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect left the restaurant on foot heading north on Lawndale Drive, police said.

Police did not provide an ample suspect description.

No injuries were reported.

The same restaurant was robbed at gunpoint around 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29.  In that incident, employees told police the suspects were wearing masks and armed with a handgun when they walked inside and demanded property.

In the early-morning hours of Monday, Dec. 5, the Steak ‘N Shake on Wendover Avenue was also robbed at gunpoint.
