Britney Spears will not return to X FACTOR, according to report

Britney Spears is not expected to be on X FACTOR next season, according to a report from US Weekly. 

According to the report, an insider told the magazine “Britney will get the boot.”

Spears joined the show this past season with fellow newcomer Demi Lovato. 

Spears earned a reported $15 million contract for her appearance on the show. Many sources say the low-energy mentor didn’t earn the huge paycheck. FOX even poked fun at Britney’s lack of enthusiasm and strange faces in the X FACTOR finale. 

Another source tells US Weekly that show co-creator Simon Cowell is leading the charge to axe Spears. 

“He wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney.”
