HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point University is inviting residents of the Piedmont Triad to its campus Wednesday and Thursday evening as part of its Community Christmas celebration.
The public is invited to tour the holiday lights and decorations on display throughout the university’s Kester International Promenade. A total of seven area choirs will also be singing at the Charles E. Hayworth Sr. Memorial Chapel.
The free event takes place between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. both nights.
In addition to hot chocolate and cookies, an HPU spokesperson says the event will feature a children’s play area where Santa will offer gifts to each child.
