Power restored to most after overnight outages in Randolph County

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — About 1,300 Duke Energy customers were without power Monday night in Randolph County, however power has been restored to most. 

A Duke Energy spokesperson says the “brief outage” began during some repairs. 

Around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, the spokesperson said power had been restored for the majority of customers. 

The Duke Energy website reported less than ten customers remained without electricity.
