Police: Suspects assaulted, robbed man in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Officials said four men pretended to be police officers, assaulted a man at gunpoint and stole his wallet Saturday in Greensboro.
The 19-year-old victim told police he was approached by the suspects at around 11:20 p.m. in the parking lot of Café Viet on 3729 Farmington Drive.
The victim told officers that the suspects yelled “freeze police” and displayed what appeared to be a badge. He said that they then assaulted him and stole his wallet.
Police said the suspects were seen leaving in a newer-model 4-door black vehicle.
Complete descriptions of the suspects were not released.
