Police: Man beaten, robbed of cell phone in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police said they are looking for two men who assaulted a man and stole his cell phone Wednesday morning in Greensboro.

The 24-year-old victim told police he was walking across Chapman Street near Spring Garden Street when the suspects approached him.

He said one of them asked to use his cell phone before he was “struck in the face.” Officials said the suspects then took the item and ran off.

Complete descriptions of the suspects were not released.
