Annual Triad Christmas Store opens Friday

GREENSBORO, N.C. --- Volunteers for the annual Triad Christmas Store started setting up shop today in Greensboro.

The store provides families in need an opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts that only cost a dollar.

The event will be held Friday from 3 p.m. through 7 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. at the West Market Street United Methodist Church in Greensboro.

More than 1100 children will be served by this event.

Organizers are still looking for toys, books, sweaters, coats and more.
