GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say the Steak ‘N Shake restaurant on Wendover Avenue was robbed at gunpoint early Monday in Greensboro.
According to police, officers responded shortly before 2 a.m. to the Steak ‘N Shake at 4409 West Wendover Ave.
The manager told police two men were armed with handguns when they entered the business and forced four patrons and two employees to the back of the building.
The suspects then ordered the manager to remove money from a safe before running away on Stanley Road. They made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police attempted to track the suspects using a K-9, but they were not located.
Both suspects are described as black males in their late 20s or early 30s.
The first suspect is further described as having a thin build and standing between 5’10″ and 6′ tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with gold writing, black jeans, Timberland boots and gloves at the time of the robbery.
Police say the second suspect also had a thin build, but stood shorter at about 5’8″ tall. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a black jacket and gloves.
No injuries were reported.
