Middle school hosts math workshop for parents in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — School officials at Guilford Parent Academy are inviting parents of middle school students to attend a free math workshop. 

At the workshop, parents will be taught how to help their child using educational games available on the Parent Academy website.

The workshop is from 6 to 7 p.m. at Southwest Middle School, located at 4368 Barrow Road in High Point. 

Dinner will be provided and parents will have an opportunity to win prizes.  All parents who pre-register will be entered into a drawing for a free Honey-Baked Ham.
