ARCHDALE, N.C. — Deputies have released a composite sketch of a suspect in the stabbing death of a High Point woman killed last month.

Officials said 36-year-old Tina Mae Rook was found in the front yard of a home on Thompson Road with a stab wound to the abdomen on Oct. 13.

Deputies said she was taken to High Point Regional Hospital where she later died from injuries.

Authorities said the victim was seen getting into a white truck with an unknown male at the intersection of Clinton Avenue and Lincoln Drive in High Point shortly before a 911 call reporting the stabbing.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 35-50 years old with shaggy brown hair.

Randolph County Crime Stoppers said they are currently offering a $1,000 reward for any information about the suspect’s identity or information leading to his arrest. They can be reached at (336) 67-CRIME.
