FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — A new call center that will employ 150 people and could hire as many as 500 plans to open next spring in Fayetteville.
The Fayetteville Observer reports that city council on Monday unanimously approved tax incentives to bring the call center to be operated by Sykes of Tampa, Fla.
The company provides customer contact for companies around the world.
The company’s director of marketing says Sykes has a long term goal of employing 500 people in Fayetteville. The company begins recruiting workers through its website after the first of the year.
