Water line break reported in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — City crews are working to repair a broken water line that was discovered early Wednesday in Winston-Salem.

City engineer Damon DeQuenne says the broken, six-inch water line near Davis Road and Creason Court was reported around 2 a.m.

As of 8:30 a.m., crews were still working to assess the damage.

There was no estimate as to when the repairs would be complete.

It was not clear how many buildings are affected by the broken water line.
