Report: Person dies after falling in trench on NCSU campus

RALEIGH, N.C. — A person has reportedly died after he fell into a trench at a construction site on North Carolina State University’s campus.

According to WTVD, rescuers responded around 12:45 p.m. to the site off Main Campus Drive.

The name of the dead worker wasn’t immediately released.

The investigation into how it happened was ongoing.

No other details were immediately available.
