HPU freshman getting national attention from SportsCenter tweet

ESPN’s SportsCenter sent out a tweet Tuesday night reading “John Brown from High Point University really likes to dunk.”

The tweet continued by saying “Where should this rank in the #SCTop10?” It also showed a YouTube video of the redshirt-Freshman scoring a dunk in the first half of High Point University’s 86-64 win over Appalachian State on Tuesday.

The tweet had been retweeted 236 times and favored 74 times by around 10:50 p.m.

Brown finished the night with 22 points.
