Deputies: Thomasville man charged after hundreds of marijuana plants found

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Deputies said a Thomasville man was arrested after 378 marijuana plants were seized from a home Monday in High Point.

Craig Stephen Shetley, 36, was charged after authorities said they executed a search warrant at 244 Barney Road and discovered an “indoor marijuana grow operation.”

Deputies said they found Shetley inside the residence at during the search.

Shetley’s listed address is on Windy Hill Lane in Thomasville. Officials did not say who lives at the home of the alleged marijuana operation.

Shetley was charged with trafficking marijuana by manufacture, possession with intent to sell marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance.

Authorities said he was placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
