Victim robbed at gunpoint in Winston-Salem home invasion

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning after two suspects broke inside his Winston-Salem home. 

According to police, the incident was reported shortly after 2:15 a.m. at 215 East Drive. 

The victim told police the suspects demanded money at gunpoint after breaking in through the front door of his home. 

The suspects took money and other belongings before leaving in an unknown direction, police said. 

The victim was not injured. 

No ample suspect descriptions were provided.
