Jill Biden to campaign in NC on Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. — The wife of Vice President Joe Biden will visit North Carolina this weekend.

President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign said Tuesday evening that Jill Biden will attend campaign events for the Democratic ticket geared toward women on Saturday. The campaign says more details will be released later.

Joe Biden campaigned last week in Charlotte and Asheville. Romney is scheduled to visit the battleground state _also in Asheville on Thursday evening.
