Baskin Robbins robbed in Greensboro, suspect sought

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a Greensboro ice cream shop Thursday night.
At about 9:30 p.m., police responded to the Baskin Robbins at 1620 Battleground Ave. in reference to a robbery.
According to police, a suspect entered the ice cream shop, approached the clerk and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male with a heavy build standing between 6’2″ and 6’4″ tall and weighing between 250 and 300 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark shorts.
No injuries were reported.
