No injuries reported in school bus accident in Davidson County

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Dispatchers say a school bus was involved in a minor accident Tuesday morning in Davidson County. 

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Snider Kines Road at Pine Bluff Drive just outside the Lexington city limits, according to Davidson County EMS.

Davidson County Schools spokeswoman Donna Stafford said the driver of bus #43 backed into a car.  Dispatchers described the accident as a “fender bender.” 

Nobody was injured, dispatchers said. 

Stafford said the bus was taking children to Southwood Elementary School.
