Police look to ID suspect in Winston-Salem convenience store robbery

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are searching for one suspect after a Winston-Salem convenience store was robbed at gunpoint late Wednesday night. 

According to police, the robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. at the BP at 7765 North Point Blvd. 

Police allege the suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded money.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he was last seen running east toward a nearby Burger King restaurant. 

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 25 standing between 6′ and 6’2″ tall and weighing between 180 and 190 lbs.  He was wearing a black shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a red and black Chicago Bulls hat at the time of the robbery.
