SURRY CO., N.C. — The Surry County Democratic Party held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of their 2012 elections headquarters in Mount Airy Tuesday night.

The Mount Airy News reported that the event took place at 526 W. Lebanon St., Suite 300. Attendants included David Diamont, candidate for Surry County commissioner east district and John Collins, candidate for Surry County commissioner Mount Airy district.
