Man charged after deadly triple stabbing at Greensboro motel
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police charged a man who was taken into custody after three people were stabbed at a Greensboro motel on Thursday.
Larry Cook, 49, is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
According to Greensboro police spokeswoman Susan Danielsen, Cook stabbed Brittany Patrice Turner, 24, Daysha Turner, 23, and Pamela Turner, 47, around 2:30 p.m. at the Rainbow Motel at 3603 N. O’Henry Blvd.
Brittany Turner was pronounced dead after she was taken to Moses Cone Hospital.
Pamela Turner, Brittany’s mother, was in critical but stable condition at Moses Cone as of Thursday night.
Daysha Turner, Brittany’s sister, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
While there is currently no clear motive, police said Cook was in a relationship with Brittany Turner.
Cook is being held at the Guilford County Jail without bond.
