Graham police arrest three teens suspected of vehicle break-ins

GRAHAM, N.C.– Police have arrested three teenagers suspected of committing six vehicle break-ins and two home burglaries between July 19 and 21 in Graham.

On July 20, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police said they responded to Thompson Road after receiving reports of a vehicle break-in.

While at the scene, police found Terrence Shaquille Harvey, 17, of 410 Fulton St., and Elijah Shaquille Stevens, 17, of 410 Hyde St. 

After a search of the suspect’s vehicle, police found stolen items from a string of break-ins and home burglaries on Ray Street, Compton Court, Carraway Drive, Branson Drive, and Thompson Road.

Tevin LaQuan Watson, 17, of 901 King St., was later arrested after being linked to the break-ins.

All three suspects were charged with six counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, four counts of misdemeanor larceny, two counts of first degree burglary and larceny of a firearm.  Harvey and Stevens were also charged with possession of a weapon of mass destruction.

Harvey and and Stevens are being held under a secured bond.  Watson was released after posting bond.

Police reported that the investigation is ongoing, as they search for additional suspects.
