Suspect sought in fatal Archdale shooting

RANDOLPH CO., N.C. — Deputies said they are searching for a man accused of shooting and killing another man at a home Friday night in Archdale.

Jeffery Lee Cash, 26, was allegedly arguing with another man at 6703 Muddy Creek Road around 11 p.m. when he fired a shotgun and struck Seth Alexander Nall, 21, in the shoulder.

Deputies said Nall was a bystander during the argument and was friends with the suspect.

Deputies said Nall was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Investigators said they believe alcohol was involved and contributed to the argument.

A warrant for the crime of murder has been issued for Cash.
