Greensboro family offers reward for missing dog
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A family is offering a reward for their dog — they believe — was taken from their home during a burglary last week.
Trace Compton believes that his Yorkshire Terrier named “Chubs” was stolen after thieves broke into the family’s home last week.
Compton says, “they picked him up as they walked out the door.”
Police told Compton that there is no reason to believe Chub’s was stolen, but he says there’s no other explanation.
“They say it’s a possibility that he ran away, but I just don’t think so,” said Compton.
Compton and his family have been consumed with finding their dog and have posted flyers around the neighborhood near Guilford College.
The family is offering a $1,000 reward for the family pet and says its a small price to pay for a family member.
” [The] most import thing is getting our dog back,” said Compton.
Anyone who has seen Chubs is asked to call 336-420-5351
