Gas prices in Greensboro down 8 cents over past week

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Gas prices in Greensboro are down 8.5 cents over the past week, average $3.14 a gallon as of Sunday.

The national average for a gallon of gas is down 6.6 cents to $3.37 a gallon when compared to last week, according GreensboroGasPrices.com.

“Oil prices rose significantly last Friday, reversing a downward trend,” said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.

Including the change in gas prices in Greensboro during the past week, prices are 29.3 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 24.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
