Electrical fire destroys clubhouse at High Point apartment complex

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police say an electrical fire destroyed a clubhouse at an apartment complex this weekend in High Point. 

No residents were displaces as a result of the blaze, which destroyed a clubhouse at the Laurel Bluff Apartments at 3601 Laurel Bluff Circle early Saturday. 

High Point police spokeswoman Denita Lynch said 18 firefighters responded to the scene after an officer who was responding to another call in the area noticed the flames shortly after 12:30 a.m. 

No injuries were reported.
