Temperatures to approach 100 through weekend

Temperatures will approach 100 degrees through the weekend, according to FOX8 Meteorologist Van Denton.

Temperatures on Thursday will reach the lower 90s but on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, temperatures could hit 100 degrees.

Some locations could see record temperatures before the weekend is over.

This evening we will be experiencing clear skies and pleasant temperatures in the mid seventies. Going into tonight, skies will remain clear and temperatures will drop to the low sixties. Tomorrow we will have beautiful sunny skies and it is going to be hot! Temperatures are expected to be in the low nineties with very low humidity.

For Saturday expect mostly sunny skies. Sunday will bring partly cloudy skies and a twenty percent chance of showers. We will start out the week on Monday with more heat. There will be partly sunny skies with a thirty percent chance of thunderstorms and temperatures will remain in the upper nineties. Tuesday will cool off a little bit, with temperatures in the lower nineties.

You can expect partly sunny skies and a forty percent chance of afternoon showers. On both Wednesday and Thursday of next week, temperatures are expected to remain in the lower nineties and there is a slight chance for some thunderstorms.
