Limited number of tickets available for Joe Biden’s visit

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit the Wake Forest Biotech Place in downtown Winston-Salem Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

According to a press release from the White House sent Monday morning, Biden is coming to talk about the administration’s efforts to create jobs and restoring security to the middle class.

The vice president will discuss the steps the administration is taking to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States and call on Congress to act on the president’s “to do list” to create jobs, the press release said.

The event is closed to the public.

150 tickets are being made available to the general public. The tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis by contacting 336-716-0748.

The tickets remain after 5 p.m. Monday, you can call Tuesday starting at 9 a.m.
